BookCoachingforAuthorsWritingTheirOwnBook
Work one-on-one with an experienced author-coach who keeps you accountable, sharpens your craft, and helps you finish the book you started.

You Have the Story. We'll Help You Finish It.
Most unfinished books don't fail for lack of talent — they fail for lack of structure, feedback, and a deadline that matters to someone besides you. That's what a book coach provides.
What Authors Say About Coaching
I'd started my book three times before. My coach gave me a plan, a deadline, and someone to answer to — I finally finished.

The chapter-by-chapter feedback was worth it alone. I write differently now, on this book and everything after it.

How Coaching Works
Every author's plan looks a little different, but here's the shape a typical engagement takes.
Discovery Call
We talk through your book, your working style, and what's gotten in the way of finishing so far.
Manuscript & Goals Assessment
Your coach reviews whatever exists — an outline, a few chapters, or just notes — and helps set a realistic target.
Custom Coaching Plan
A session cadence and milestone schedule are built around your timeline and how you actually work.
Ongoing Sessions & Feedback
Regular sessions combine craft instruction, chapter feedback, and accountability to keep you moving.
Completion & Publishing Roadmap
Once the manuscript is done, your coach helps you plan the next step — editing, agents, or self-publishing.
Coaching Built Around How You Actually Write
A Plan, Not Just Encouragement
Every engagement starts with real milestones, not vague deadlines you set for yourself and miss.
Matched to Your Working Style
Some authors want weekly structure; others want a monthly gut-check. Your coaching cadence fits you.
Real Craft Feedback
You'll get more than encouragement — specific, actionable notes on structure, voice, and pacing.
Built-In Accountability
Regular check-ins mean the book stays a priority, even when life gets in the way.
Book Coaching FAQ
How is coaching different from ghostwriting?
With coaching, you write the book yourself — your coach provides structure, feedback, and accountability. With ghostwriting, our team drafts the manuscript with you. Some clients start with coaching and shift to ghostwriting if their timeline changes.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, but the cadence is built around your schedule and how you work best.
What if I fall behind on a milestone?
That's normal, and part of what coaching is for. Your coach helps you adjust the plan rather than treating a missed deadline as a failure.
Does my coach edit my pages, or just advise?
Coaching sessions include specific, written feedback on your pages — not just verbal encouragement — so you have something concrete to revise from.
Can coaching turn into a full ghostwriting engagement later?
Yes. If your timeline or bandwidth changes mid-project, we can shift some or all of the remaining manuscript to our ghostwriting team.
Is coaching available for groups, or only one-on-one?
Our core offering is one-on-one coaching, though we occasionally run small cohort programs — ask during your discovery call if that's a fit.
