ThePeopleBehindEveryStory&SterlingBook

Every engagement is staffed by seasoned professionals — ghostwriters, editors, coaches, and publishing strategists — who've shaped books that reach real readers. Our ghostwriters work under strict confidentiality, the same protection we extend to every author's voice; the team below leads and stands behind their work.

The People You'll Work With

Team headshot
Eleanor VossFounder & Principal Ghostwriter

Eleanor founded Story & Sterling after more than a decade writing books for entrepreneurs, executives, and first-time authors who had a story worth telling but no time to write it themselves. She's ghostwritten across memoir, business, and narrative nonfiction, and started the agency to give authors the full team a serious book deserves — not just a single freelancer. She still personally reviews every manuscript before it reaches a client.

Marcus BellweatherManaging Executive Editor

Marcus spent years editing for traditional publishing houses before moving into agency work, overseeing editorial quality across every genre Story & Sterling touches. He's especially drawn to structural editing — helping a manuscript find its shape before a single line is polished. He leads the editorial team and signs off on every book before it's considered client-ready.

Whitney CarterExecutive Editor

Whitney's background is in acquisitions, where she developed an eye for what makes a manuscript stand out to agents and readers alike. She specializes in positioning — helping authors sharpen the angle and audience of their book long before it goes to market. Clients often bring her in early, when a project is still finding its shape.

Julian FordPublishing Strategist

Julian spent years on the agency side of publishing before joining Story & Sterling to guide clients through the part of the process most authors find most confusing: what happens after the manuscript is done. He advises on submission strategy, agent introductions, and self-publishing paths, and helps each author choose the route that actually fits their goals.

Renata ColeHead of Client Relations

Renata oversees every engagement from the first consultation through final delivery, making sure nothing falls through the cracks along the way. She's the first person most clients speak with and often the one who spots when a project needs to shift direction. Her focus is making a months-long collaboration feel steady and well communicated from start to finish.

Team headshot
Theo MarchettiSenior Book Coach

Theo works primarily with first-time authors who are writing their own books but need structure, accountability, and craft guidance to get there. His coaching style favors realistic milestones over rigid deadlines, and he's especially effective with authors who have a strong voice but need help organizing it into a finished manuscript.

Our Ghostwriters

Every manuscript is written by a ghostwriter matched to your genre, background, and voice — drawn from our roster of novelists, journalists, and career ghostwriters with real bestseller credits. In keeping with the confidentiality we promise every author, our ghostwriters are not named publicly; you'll meet yours directly during your consultation, and their full background and writing samples are shared with you at that stage.
