FAQ

Review & Consultation FAQ

Is this the same as a full edit?

No. A review and consultation gives you a diagnosis and a plan, not line-by-line edits. It's the right first step if you're unsure what your manuscript needs.

Does it work for an unfinished draft?

Yes. Many authors submit a partial draft to check direction before investing in the rest of the manuscript.

How long does it take?

Most reviews are returned within two to three weeks of receiving your manuscript.

Can I roll this into a full edit later?

Yes. If you continue with us, the review informs the editorial plan for your full edit.
